Bleh. It's wierd, it's almost like I have a curse on me - Whenever I try to get an RW done early, I always wind up finishing it six hours later. In this case I was hoping to get this comic done at 10:00 AM today, since I had already half of it done the day prior. Yet for some reason, finishing, coloring and updated soaked up twice the time I thought it'd take.

I'M CUUURRSED!!

Okay, now that you're all piss drunk off my fine whines (heh), onto the comic.

This one just popped into my head after people were discussing pets in the RW channel. After some thinking on how to approach the punchline, I decided to make it an unofficial sequel to Lenz and Nth Power's antics with a fake Azoth.

You know, I still need to bring Nth's clicky pen back.

Anyway. I think this is one of the better drawn RW comics as far as consistency goes, though I am personally unhappy with several things - one, Lenz's arm in the third panel, the lamer knight in the panel coming up, and Nth's expression in the final panel. For some reason, I just don't like it, and I had to make myself stop trying to redraw it (I think I spent a good half hour just drawing, coloring, erasing and redrawing that one little bit!).

On the same token though, things like our little Sohee here, I think, came out fairly well. There's some things I could have shaded better, namely the upper part of her dress and the golden balls underneath the spikey collar the lamer put on her, but anyway. It's all good.

I will admit it, one reason why this one is probably more well drawn than other comics is because I reused images again. Sort of. Maybe.

For most of the panels it's Lenz and Nth's pictures reused from the first panel, but modified to some extent - mouth shapes, their heads turning, or the hands and stuff. While it's still somewhat cheating myself, it helped cut down on the time I spent finishing the comic. Otherwise, I could have been finishing this comic around 8:00 PM again... something I really retch at doing. I like to get the comic done, preferrably, by 1:00 PM or earlier. Bleh.

Okay... the pop tarts thing. At the time this is something Sniff the Raven has been going nuts with in the RW IRC channel. It comes from a recording of Robin Williams goofing off during Live on Broadway. The soundclip he gave me - in addition to his antics - had me laughing and breathless a few days ago... and it still gives me giggles.

You'll probably be seeing the "POP TARTS! :3" craziness referred to sometime later on, just because of how insanely random it is.

Aaand Lenz finally gets it. Yes, Lenz, THAT'S why they call it a knife of "chastity." Har har.
