This one was a bit tougher than normal to do, primarily because this comic features just about every incarnation of Neko-san that he's actually played as of this comic. Yes, he's gone through this many characters over his time in playing iRO.
Suffice to say, this comic has been waiting in the wings for a while—I've been meaning to highlight this quirk of our neighborhood friendly Japanese-named cat person thing.
Neko-san is always changing from a male to a female account and always picks different hair styles, hair colors, and classes to be.
It gets a bit hectic trying to keep up with him, and if you look through past RW comics, you'll see that three of these incarnations of Neko-san have been featured. THAT WAS ONLY THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG OF THE MAN WOMAN MAN KNOWN AS NEKO-SAN!
HE'S UNSTABLE!^%&!
Well, for the time being at least, he's taken the form of that female knight you see at the end, but you never know when he'll decide to change his form again ... He's totally a shapeshifter. In fact ... you know what?
Screw the instability theory.
100 zeny says that Neko-san's really Doppelganger.
WE HAVE AN MVP IN OUR GROUP.
*ahem*
About the only thing that ever stays constant about Neko-san is that he always calls himself Neko-something. I would have said that "his forms always have green hair," but as you can see, that's only correct ... what? Three fourths of the time? Maybe less?
Let me tell you, hanging around Neko-san I've been given a thorough tour of the various honorifics used in Japanese society! (And those guys have a LOT of honorifics!)
Anyway, Neko-san's not the only one who's been on a kick of changing their appearance; Mark Van Exel and some of the people in the Crusaders of Rune-Midgard have also switched things around. MVE originally had blue hair this beta.
Or at least, that's what he announced right after Neko-san told me he was staying in his female knight body and not going back to being a male hunter (like I drew him as in the iRO open beta comic a few issues ago).
Given the circumstance, I think he was just pulling my leg to make my brain fry at the thought of having to keep up with more than one person changing their appearance.
Hah! IT TAKES MORE THAN BLUE HAIR TO MAKE AN OMELET WITH MY NOGGIN!
... It takes a dozen gender, class, and other appearance changes!
That's why MVE has the pink beard. Can't make the connection? Neither can I!
For all I know, Mark's just been getting a bit too eager to dine upon cotton candy again!
For shame, Mark! Remember your table manners! You're gonna make your face all sticky with sugar!
