It really does bite when you can't celebrate your own national holiday on account of bad weather! That's what happened around where I live. Granted, they were predicting a high chance of storms for the night of the Fourth ... So, it wasn't a huge surprise that most places around here would cancel their fireworks displays ... except for the city itself. They decided to go ahead with the fireworks show after dawdling on it, which really pissed off a lot of people who wound up leaving beforehand!
The town I live in, though, postponed the celebrations for a later date—so I haven't missed out on anything, at least. Still, I hope nobody else had to miss out on the fireworks! Then again, I don't know how many people out there enjoy watching colorful explosions—I guess it wouldn't matter much if you didn't enjoy fireworks. I, on the other hand, am a pretty big fireworks freak ... Anyway! On the topic of the comic, I do think it WOULD be pretty cool if Wizards could control the weather in RO, though. If we had weather, that is.
